Based on information obtained from Flightradar24, the flight was operated by PK-GMF (737-8U3), took off from Perth at 0937UTC, and was heading north at 32000 feet when at 1018UTC it made a 180⁰ turn and headed back to Perth. Aircraft was held at 9000 feet over waypoint JULIM at north east of Perth at 1054UTC until 1115UTC. Aircraft then landed back at Perth at 1131UTC.
It remains unclear as to the reason for this event.
Update (1630UTC):
Aircraft took off again at 1430UTC towards Jakarta and is expected to land at 1829UTC instead of the scheduled 1425UTC.
